Sunflower seed is a seed of Sunflower plant.

Sunflower seeds are high in protein. And they are also contain an excellent amount of omega-6 fatty acids, dietary fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals.

At sunrise, the faces of most sunflowers are turned towards the east. Over the course of the day they follow the sun from east to west, while at night they return to an eastward orientation.
